Welcome, my name is Jody Connolly
Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist
I offer a caring and compassionate space where you can slow down, feel heard, and being to make sense of what is happening in your life.
My work brings together integrative counselling, Gestalt therapy, and depth-orientated practice, alongside a strong connection to nature and the ways it can support awareness, reflection and emotional grounding. I offer both online and in-person work at a privet, nature-connected location on the Somerset Levels, overlooking a beautiful small lake with local wildlife.
In our work, we may gently explore present-moment experience in an experiential way, including attention to emotions, body awareness, and what is happening between us in the therapeutic relationship.
Together, we pay attention to what is unfolding now, while exploring the deeper pattens and experiences that shape your life.
This is not about fixing or rushing change, but about creating space for understanding, awareness and a more connected relationship with yourself.
My aim is to create an environment where you feel safe and comfortable to explore the landscape of your inner world.
Nature connection is proven to reduce stress, reduces rumination, improves mood, restore attention and promote nervous system regulation. Counselling and psychotherapy can help identify areas of your life that need attention, facilitate self-awareness, self-compassion & a radical acceptance of who you are & what your needs are.
